DONALD LINGO, JR. SCORES FIRST WIN OF 2014 IN SUPER LATE MODELS

In the caution free 20-lap Super Late Model feature it was Herb Tunis leading the first two circuits. Andrew Mullins shot on top for lap three with Donald Lingo, Jr. following into second and Nick Davis into third. Ricky Elliott, who was tied with Mullins for the point lead coming into the race,  slowed coming off the second turn and headed to the pits ending his night.

Lingo immediately went to work on Mullins taking the lead on lap five. Mullins stayed glued to Lingo’s back spoiler until the halfway point when Lingo settled in and started to pull away.

The second half was all Lingo as he made no mistake to post his first win of the season. Mullins finished half a straight back in second with Davis finishing in third. Fourth went to Kerry King and Mark Byram rounded out the top five. Heats were won by Mullins and Elliott.
