By Charlie Brown, Delmar, DE – The day started out bad and it went down hill from there Sunday at the U.S. 13. Dragway. In the first round of time runs a racer exploded a rear coating the starting line with gear grease. After a lengthy cleanup the program was able to restart.
Mother Nature was up next and with just two rounds of eliminations in a mixture of rain and snow began to fall ending the day. Action resumes this Sunday with the final week of E.T. Bracket Racing before moving into the Summit E.T. Racing Series points on April 6th. Gates open at 10 a.m. with time runs at 11 a.m. and eliminations starting at approximately 2 p.m.
