US 13 FIRES UP ITS 50TH SEASON WITH A BEAUTIFUL FIRST DAY!

US 13 Dragway opened its gates for the 50th consecutive year this past Sunday, March 10th, 2013. With that they saw a successful day with hundreds of racers coming from Pennsylvania to Virginia and from the Bay to the Beach. Mother Nature blessed the Eastern Shore with great weather for some racing action, and racers and fans flocked to the race track accordingly. A gamblers race was put together during the day, and Defending Super Pro Champion Frank Lecates picked up the first win of the 2013 and 50th Anniversary Season.

Not only did racers and fans flock to the grounds of the US 13 Dragway, but also did local TV station WMDT 47 news and reporter Kody Leibowitz. Racing action will continue next week Sunday, March 17th, 2013 with our first week of elimination action! Gates will open at 10 am with Time Runs starting at 11, and eliminations to follow.
