SCHEDULE SET FOR 2014 NHRA SUMMIT RACING SERIES ET FINALS AT U.S. 13

The finest bracket racers in the Northeast will descend on the U.S. 13 Dragway this week for the NHRA Summit Racing Series ET Finals for the Northeast Division 1. A total of 462 racers are entered in the three day event competing in Super Pro, Pro, Motorcycle/Snowmobile and Street divisions plus High School Eliminator.

 

There will be 16 tracks participating in the NHRA Summit ET Series Finals representing 14 teams. Joining the host U.S. 13 team will be: Cecil County Dragway, Rising Sun, Md.; Mason-Dixon Dragway, Boonsboro, Md.; New England Dragway, Epping, N.H.; Atco Dragway, Atco, N.J.; Island Dragway, Great Meadows, N.Y.; Old Bridge Township Raceway Park, Englishtown, N.J.; ESTA Safety Park, Cicero, N.Y. Spencer Speedway, Williamson, N.Y.; Maple Grove Raceway, Mohnton, Pa.; Numidia Dragway, Numidia, Pa.; South Mountain Raceway, Boiling Springs, Pa.; Lebanon Valley Dragway, West Lebanon, N.Y. and Team Canada comprised of Toronto Motorsport Park, Cayuga, Ont. Canada, Napierville Dragway, Napierville, Que. Canada plus Virginia Motorsports Park, Petersburg, Va. which will be grouped with the two Canadian tracks.

 

Teams will earn a point toward the team championship each time one of their racers wins in eliminations on Saturday.

 

Wednesday, Sept. 17th the Dragway will be open from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m. for parking only. No pit parking for new entries will be allowed after 10 p.m.

 

Thursday, Sept. 18th gates open at 7 a.m. Time Trials will begin at 9 a.m. with the order being Street, Pro, Super and Bike/Sled. There will be two sessions only! If conditions permit there will be a gamblers race for the second time run session. Vehicle and driver must be on roster in class listed on roster. There will also be a Bogey Race in the Time Trial Sessions. No pit parking will be allowed after 9 p.m.

 

Friday, Sept. 19th gates open at 7 a.m.  Time Trials will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the order being Street, Pro, Super and Bike/Sled. There will be two sessions only! Race of Champions Time Trials will be at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Race of Champions first round will be at 4 p.m. LCCC High School Time Trials will be held at 8 p.m. (subject to cancellation). If conditions permit there will be a gamblers race for the second time run session. Vehicle and driver must be on roster in class listed on roster. Race of Champions drivers and riders are not eligible for the gamblers race. There will also be a Bogey Race in the Time Trial Sessions. No pit parking will be allowed after 9 p.m.

 

Saturday, Sept. 20st gates open at 7 a.m. with LCCC High School Eliminator Time Trials at 8:30 a.m. Eliminations will followed in the order of Street, Pro, Super and Bike/Sled. There will be no racing after the 1 a.m. curfew.

 

Sunday, Sept 21st is the rain date for Saturday.Division 1
