HEIFER’Z-HOG’Z & HEN’Z SMOKEOUT 500
BARBEQUE FESTIVAL
COMING TO DELAWARE IN 2015
SEPTEMBER 25 & 26
The Kansas City Barbeque Society along with festival planner, Sandy Fulton, proudly announce the forthcoming of a new venue to Delaware in 2015. Fulton has teamed up with the long standing business U.S. 13 Dragway Inc. located in Delmar, Delaware. The management of the U.S. 13 Dragway Incorporated is very excited to bring this new venue to Sussex County and the first state.
Event organizer, Sandy Fulton, is no stranger to the barbeque industry. She was recently appointed as a board member with the KCBS. Fulton was the master mind behind one of the largest barbeque events held on the shore, “Pork in the Park. This event developed and prospered under her leadership as Tourism Manager for Wicomico County Tourism. She now hosts four other festivals throughout the year, events such as “Triple Threat held in Harrington, DE and “Pig in a Jig held in Snow Hill, MD, just to name a few.
Charles Cathell, CEO of the U.S.13 Dragway states, “Our specialty, week-in and week-out, is promoting and executing motorsports events on a weekly basis. We have been exploring the opportunities to host other venues over the past couple of years. Recently, my son developed a holiday festival “Decorating Delmarva which will enter it’s forth season this winter. What I have found through my 52 years of being in business, is that you must have the right people, with the background and knowledge of the venue to be successful. Sandy Fulton brings all these attributes and more. We are excited to not only bring a new venue to Sussex County, but have the opportunity to work with Sandy as well.

Fans you will be able to purchase tickets to taste these creations. Then Saturday, Mountaire farms will be back for “The Greatest Show on Fingers…..MOUNTAIRE FARMS CHICKEN PICKIN CONTEST.
