THE LIST & 302 BOYZ TURN UP THE ACTION

LIST Fans and Race Teams....Was Chevy Sunday NOT the BEST or what!!

We have to thank the 12 teams who showed up and put on one of the BEST shows I witnessed in a long time! Thousands of fans who may have never heard of the LIST....Now know who we are, that's for sure!!

All 12 racers drew a number which would place them on the ladder for our first "OFF THE TRAILER CASH DAY." When it came time, the ladder was set and here is how they matched up for first round of LIST action:

Lance White & "No Piggy" vs. Papi Guzman & "Team Yota"
Ballard Boyz Racing & "The Hulk" vs Craig Walls & "Green Grenade"
Takii Smith & "Corn Liquor" vs Tom Lynch & "Prime Time"
Steve Drummond & "Old Eleanor" vs Antione Jones & "Killa"
Barney Bowen & "Blue Ice" vs Danny Clark & "Boosted Deuce"
Lewis Jones & "2Barrel" vs Justin Abbott & "Mr Pinks"

First round was no disappointment, the track prep was on "Q" and it showed! Each race, left fans on the edge of their seats waiting for the win light. At the end of 1st round, here were the 6 finalist coming back for more action. Lance White, Craig Walls, Takii Smith, Barney Bowen, Steve Drummond and Lewis Jones.

Round two pairings lined up like this:
Lance White "No Piggy" vs Craig Walls & "Green Grenade"
Takii Smith & "Corn Liquor" vs Barney Bowen & "Blue Ice"
Lewis Jones & "2Barrel" vs Steve Drummond & "Old Eleanor"

Looking over the pairings, we knew this would be another great round! When the smoke settled, we witnessed some of the tightest races so far this year! Now we were down to three....as the ladder would fall out, Lance White would receive the bye run and move into the finals.

This set us up for a showdown between, the big block nitrous powered Camaro of Barney Bowen and the small block nitrous powered S-10 pick-up of Lewis Jones. Jones had the advantage at the tree, Bowen showed his power at the mid track mark. When they came to stripe, it would be Jones for the win. This would set up a all DRC (Drummond Race Cars) finals.

As the track crew did it's final prep, both teams had their crews out checking over the surface. The call went out to fire up! In the lanes, Lewis Jones had won the coin toss for lane choice. Jones won the toss and chose the right lane, placing White in the left for the first time. Both drivers carefully staged getting in as shallow as possible. When the instant green lit up, Jones jumped all over it, leaving out on White by a car length.

Whites car left hard but drove to the left a slight bit. With $2200 in cash up for grabs, White held the throttle down as long as possible. But Jones in his S-10 "2BARREL"was just to much and crossed the stripe first picking up the win.

Again, I cannot thank all of our List Teams enough for their out pouring of support this season. By the feed back we are receiving, we can see another "List Cash Day" in the future.

So, this Sunday we will get back to our "Call Outs."

Already #10 Craig Walls has put the CALL OUT for the Ballard Boyz Racing!
Danny Clark has CALLED OUT Lewis Jones for a rematch!

Who else will be calling out.....Stay tune folks...I'll keep you posted!
