U.S. 13 DRAGWAY JOINS SBRA IN 2016

Last year, Team U.S. 13 attended its first IHRA Summit Super Series Team finals in Pittsburgh, PA. Our racers enjoyed the event and experience for their first year with the IHRA organization. The Summit Super Series and Team finals gave our racers many chances to win in 2015.

For 2016, racers will have another chance to bring home some big cash! This season, we have joined the Southern Bracket Racing Association (SBRA). This group of seven racetracks formed their own "Bracket Finals" program back in 1994. This year will mark the 23rd Anniversary and will be held at Mason Dixon Dragway in Hagerstown, MD. The seven competing tracks are: Mason Dixon Dragway, East Side Dragway, Natural Bridge Dragstrip, Colonial Beach Dragway, Beaver Springs Dragway, Pittsburgh Raceway Park and now the U.S. 13 Dragway. Over $68,000 will be paid out during the four day event. Gamblers races Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, also offered will be Race of Champions on Saturday and the main event run on Sunday.

If you are interested in running for the SBRA points series you may sign up at the track. The cost is $20 to enter just the SBRA points only. The eight points races scheduled for this season: March 27, April 17, May 15, June 5, June 17, July 29, August 18 and August 28. We will take 55 team members which include 5 of our junior dragsters.
