TEAM 13 HEADS TO IHRA DIVISION 1 PATRIOTS TEAM BRACKET FINALS
DELMAR, DE – The top qualifiers from all of the IHRA Division 1 member tracks will head to the Maryland International Raceway in Mechanicsville, Md. for the four day Patriots Bracket Finals Sept. 29 through Oct. 1. Eliminations will be held in Top ET, Mod ET and Jr. Dragster.
Representing Team 13 in Top ET will be 2016 Points Champion, Mike Jones of Salisbury, Md. along with Frank Lecates of Salisbury; Bill Groton of Seaford, Del. Tommy Ketterman of Salisbury; Ben Parks of Salisbury; Jamie Russell of Dover. Del.; Vernon Russell of Dover; Chris Wigfall, Salisbury; Brooks Moore of Salisbury; Sterling Clough of Marion, Md.; Horace Willey of Willards, Md.; Christian Walsten of Crisfield, Md.; Doug Milner of Laurel, Del. and Bobby Insley of Crisfield.
Tim Foskey, Jr. of Rhodesdale, Md. won his second consecutive Mod ET championship and will head the group in that division which also includes: Daryl Beauchamp of Princess Anne, Md.; Humphrey Maddox, Jr. of Princess Anne; Ben Garnett of Smyrna, Del.; Chelsea Williams of Seaford; Jim Williams of Seaford; Crystal Hudson of Millsboro, Del.; Marcus Wongus of Rhodesdale; Ernie Fisher of Laurel; Brian Riebert of Salisbury; Vincent Wade of Eden, Md.; John Henderson of Frederica, Del.; Robin Lewers of Pocomoke, Md.; Roger Ridgeway, Jr. of Dover; Kody Mariner of Salisbury, Md.; John Elias of Delmar and Ronn Carey of Dagsboro, Del.
Alexis Truitt of Parsonsburg, Md. will represent U.S. 13 as the Jr. Dragster champion after winning Jr. Dragster 2 at the track and the runoff with Jr. Dragster 1 champion, Keith Riddle. Joining Truitt and Riddle in Jr. Dragster will be: Jacob Bowie of Greensboro, Md.; Caitlyn Hooper of Hurlock, Md.; Hope Clarke of Parsonsburg; Ethan Hubbard of Princess Annne; Dacia Powell of Mardela Springs, Md. and Nicholas Bowie of Greensboro. Morgan Larkin of Salisbury will be the alternate.
