US 13 Dragway

The US 13 Dragway brings an exciting jam packed schedule to the table for the 2020 season!

When racers and fans look through their 2020 season schedule they will see there’s no shortage of racing for the US 13 Dragway. Racing will run several times on Wednesday’s, Friday’s, Saturday’s, and Sunday’s during the course of the season, giving drivers plenty of opportunities for seat time.

New for the 2020 season will be the IHRA & SBRA Ultimate Points Series! Once a month drivers will have chance to compete for bigger purses during a 2-Day event. Top ET will pay $3,000 to win and Mod ET will pay $1,000 to win during the Saturday & Sunday events! The series will also serve as the predominant and exclusive dates for the SBRA points series. During these 2 events gates will open on Saturday at 2 pm, there will be an open time run session from 3-4:30 pm, drivers will then receive 1 guaranteed time run starting at 5 pm, followed by eliminations. Sunday’s schedule will see gates opening at 8 am, with one time run at 9 am, and eliminations to follow. More information regarding these events will be available soon.

Grudge and N/T Shootout racers will have a busy schedule in 2020 with Wednesday & Friday Night Fights, as well as specialty events with 410 Grudge Dreams in April, September, and October. US 13 will host their infamous Outlaw Cash Days on April 4th, May 8th, June 24th, July 22nd, August 12th, September 11th, and November 1st.

Bracket Racing on Friday Nights and under the lights will return in 2020 starting on June 5th. A new run schedule has been put together to allow for racers to get to the track after their work day, and will also allow racers who get there early to have some additional time to practice. Gates will open at 3:30 pm, there will be an open time run session from 4:30-6 pm, followed by one guaranteed final time run and then eliminations.

The Raymond Townsend Memorial race will kick off part one of a major two day weekend in August with the 57th Annual Super Sunday Show Shine and Drags on August 31st. The OC Cruisers Car Club will again be on hand to help put on one of Delmarva’s largest car shows.

With a date still to be determined, 2020 will see the return of Jerry Ketterman’s Super Bad 8 that is sure to bring in some of the fastest hot rods from up and down the East Coast. Not only will fast cars be on the premises, but big money and prizes will be up for grabs as Saturday will pay $5,000 to win in Top ET for only an $85 entry fee, and Sunday will pay $3,000 to win as part of the aforementioned IHRA & SBRA Ultimate Points Series!

Footbrakers will have their day to shine again in 2020 as the infamous Footbrake Nationals returns on October 4th.

Junior Dragsters will also have their opportunity to cash in during the 2020 season as a new entry fee of just $20 and $10 buybacks will allow for a payday for winners and runner up’s! Once completed, more details on the new Junior Dragster payouts will be available on the payouts tab on our website.
