Baden Takes Mod Win After Rain Delay

Sunday's weather was beautiful once again for the IHRA Summit Super Series race until  pop-up showers delayed the race. Once the track was dry, the races were resumed. By the end of the night all classes had crowned winners.

Janet Baden took home the Mod ET win, Steven Truitt with the win in Top ET, Pro Bike was Brice Cornish, Jr. Dragsters winner was Nicholas Bowie, the Hot Rod win went to Ed Tull and Keith Mayers took home the win in Street Eliminator.

 

Top ET: Steven Truitt takes the win over Rob Weiltner Jr. after Weiltner drops red.

Mod ET: Janet Baden runs dead on her dial to take the win over David Hornsby.

Pro Bike: Brice Cornish wins by running a 5.99 on a 5.85 dial against Ronald Lofland.

Jr. Dragster: Nicholas Bowie takes the win over Bentley Hazzard by running a 8.02 on a 7.99 dial.

Hot Rod: Ed Tull takes the win over Jesse Bowden with a 7.85 on a 7.81 dial.

Street: Keith Mayers wins over Hermon Ross with a 7.48 on a 7.40 dial.

 

The next event at U. S. 13 Dragway is the Jerry Ketterman's Super Bad 8, May 22nd, 2021. Top ET will pay out $5,000 to win with each Bad 8 winner (Dragster & Doorcar) winning $1,200 and other great prizes. If you have any questions please call the speedway office at 302-846-3911.
