Big Event Weekend to Come to U. S. 13 Dragway

This upcoming weekend, August 28th - August 29th, 2021, will bring a triple event weekend. Saturday brings the 5th Annual Raymond E. Townsend III Jr. Dragster Memorial Race and raised purses for Top ET and Mod ET. Sunday will host another raised purse race for Top ET and Mod ET as well as the 58th Annual William & Juanita Cathell Memorial Anniversary Chevy Show Shine & Drag event.

To kick off Saturday the Raymond E. Townsend III Jr. Dragster Memorial race will bring $1,000 to the winner, $400 to the runner up and $150 for a semi final finish. This is a FREE ENTRY race with FREE BUY BACKS. Buy backs will be ran as a separate round plus prizes and bonus money for lights and packages.

Top ET and Mod ET will run Saturday and Sunday with raised purses. The winner in Top ET will take home $3,000, $800 for the runner up, $400 semi finals, $60 beginning with 3rd round loser. The winner of Mod ET will take home $1,000, $400 to the runner up, $150 to the semi finalist and $35 beginning with 3rd round loser.

Top ET Entry Fee - $85 Buy Backs - $65

Mod ET Entry Fee - $50 Buy Backs - $30

Saturday and Sunday also will be a IHRA & SBRA Ultimate points series event. OBHF Pro bike, Street Eliminator, Hot Rod, Jr. Dragster, and N/T Testing will be held both days.

The last event of the weekend will be held on Sunday which is the 58th Annual William and Juanita Cathell Memorial Anniversary Chevy Show Shine & Drag event. Top ET, Mod ET, OBHF Pro Bike, Hot Rod, Street Eliminator, and Jr. Dragster will run as well as a car show from 9 am - 2 pm with trophies and awards following. Entries will receive a free dash plate.
