BD Motorsports Media set for DIS 2023

BD Motorsports Media LLC has reached an agreement with the Cathell family to promote special events at Delaware International Speedway in Delmar, Del., for the 2023 season. The schedule will work hand-in-hand with neighboring Georgetown Speedway.
“We appreciate the Cathell family offering the opportunity to promote events at Delaware International Speedway in 2023,” Brett Deyo of BD Motorsports Media LLC said. “We’ve put together a schedule between Georgetown and Delaware International that gives Delaware racers approximately 20 races in their home state.”
Delaware International will join Georgetown as a member of the NASCAR Roots Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series for both the Modified and Crate 602 Sportsman divisions.
An Open Practice will start the season at Delaware International on Tuesday, March 28 (rain date: March 29).
The Season Opener will honor longtime car owner Jake Marine on Friday, March 31 paying $??,?????? ???? ?????? ???????????? of the Modified feature!
RUSH Late Model Series return to the spotlight on April 12 with the annual ‘Battle of the Bay’ paying $3,000 to the winner. Modifieds ($3,000 to win) will also take part in this event.
The annual Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series Fueled By GoSunoco Racing ‘Diamond State 50’ is set for Tuesday, May 16 (rain date: May 17) with the Rent Equip/Party Central South Region racing 50 laps for $5,000 to win, $1,000 for 10th and $500 to start, plus the Belmont's Garage Crate 602 Sportsman South Region ($1,500 to win), Delaware Super Trucks & Delmarva Chargers.
The Rapid Tire USAC East Coast Sprint Cars make their first of two appearances on Friday, June 30. The wingless 360 Sprint Cars return on Friday, Sept. 22.
Friday, July 14 brings the next event with the Modifieds and Super Late Models on the card in a double-headline program.
A Thursday special on August 10 features the Modifieds in a $4,000-to-win event topping the program.
In September, the Modifieds compete for $3,000 to win on the 22nd before the speedway goes silent for the month of October.
November 17-18 brings the Delaware State Dirt-Track Championships and a two-day program headlined by the Super Late Models, Modifieds and Spec Small-Block Modifieds.
Spectator and pit parking renewals, VIP towers, season passes and more will be available in the coming days via the BD Motorsports Media LLC online store.
Chad Cathell will return to the speedway to assist with promotions, race management and scoring. Sandra Fiedler will serve as the Office Manager. Remaining positions will be filled in the coming weeks.
