Hillbilly Bracket Bash Weekend
Good morning racers!
Well it’s finally here, it’s the HillBilly Bracket Bash! This is our first attempt at a, 3 day triple $5K’s for Top Bulb, triple $2500 for NoBox and two days for our Jr. Dragsters, we are doing on our own. No partners, No traveling group, just SDM Promotions & U.S.13 Dragway. We hate to jinx ourselves but for the first time all season, the weather reports are showing 3 beautiful days.
This brings us to our message this morning. As many know we had lighting hit our scoreboards a few weeks ago. With the help of Bob Brockmeyer and Compulink, we have restored life to the left hand boards. We are currently waiting on parts to have the right side operational. We hope this set back won’t deter racers from coming, as we are going to work extra hard to make this weekend memorable!
We know there are other options and/or races going on this weekend paying a lot more and it’s everyone’s right to go where they choose. We just want everyone to know, it will be our honor to have you attend! We have some great things planned all weekend long!
We are a small family run track, celebrating 60 years in business this season! With that said, we hope to see some old and new racers this weekend! We will open the gates Thursday night for parking, gates will open at 5pm.
