PRO STICK RACING RETURNS TO DELAWARE IN 2024

In 2023, the U.S.13 Dragway held a host of new events to give fans a variety and more bang for their buck! One of the new events added was the high winding, wheel standing group known as Pro Stick Racing. Eric Kitchen and his group of over 35 racers ascended on the 1st state to give fans a taste of the old days.
The Pro Stick Racing organization is set to return in 2024 bringing the excitement of the 60's and 70's back along with their quarter mile ET's ranging from the low 8 second range to mid-10 second cars. This group is very well known in the Northeast and used to be regulars at Capitol Raceway back in the day. "We hadn't been this far south in quite a while," states Kitchen. "We were happy to team up with Mark and his wife Denise to pay a visit back here on the eastern shore. They are doing a great job at promoting all types of racing and we hope the fans enjoyed the show last year."
Make plans now to come out for an exciting weekend of drag racing as the Pro Stick Racing organization will be part of a three-day weekend, July 19-21, 2024. We will start off Friday night with gates opening at 5 pm for parking, and test & tune from 6 pm to 10 pm along with the 64 car Summer Shoot-Out Series. Saturday, the gates open at 2 pm with the first qualifying session for Pro Stick at 2:30 pm, followed by the second qualifying session at 4:30 pm. Bracket racers will have one time run session at 3 pm with Eliminations to follow the final qualifying session of Pro Stick. Saturday will also be points race #9 of the Track and WDRA points chase.
Sunday will wrap up the weekend with the gates opening at 10 am, new entry time runs 11 am and eliminations for points race #10 to follow. If you need more information, you may contact the track office Monday - Friday 9 am to 4 pm.
