Dragway Opening Weekend Schedule Change

The management team at US 13 Dragway has continued to assess the facility ahead of our opening weekend. The grounds are completely saturated from last night and today’s rain.
After careful consideration, we have decided that in order to provide the best racing surface for our first 2 points races on Saturday and Sunday, we feel that the sun and wind we receive tomorrow will allow us to dry up a lot of moisture. We are going to cancel the test and tune for tomorrow night to allow the track crew to prepare the best surface we can for Saturday and Sunday.
Updated schedule will be to open the gates on Saturday at 8 am. We will hold an open test session from 10-12:30. At 1 pm we will give all classes 1 time run then start eliminations.
On Sunday, we will open the gates at 10 am with all classes receiving 1 time run then start eliminations. This is a change from our normal Sunday plan. It will only be for this Sunday, March 30.
Sunday afternoon, we will hold a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny behind the tower to pass out an Easter bag to the kids. We will not hold the Easter Egg hunt this year.
We are looking forward to the opening weekend and hope giving the facility the extra drying time on Friday we will be able to provide the best racing surface for the weekend.
